These sweethearts' parents took many trips to Lindos and fell in love with this specific location. Lindos, Rhodes is a beautiful archaeological location that has been blessed by the ancient Greek Gods. Lindos is a location that no one can resist because of its spectacular views, picturesque alleys, and amazing architectural buildings.
Both Michael and Nicole are from Canada, and they decided that Lindos was the place to create memorable life moments shared with their friends and family. From their stunning ceremony set in a luxurious villa to their al fresco dinner that took place on the upper terrace of Melenos Hotel, with lush floral garland and custom décor, this setting couldn't have been more romantic. The magnetic details and the moment of emotions were brought to life by Golden Apple 0Weddings planning team and each person present at this wedding was just absorbing all the details of this glamorous day that was beautified by Kay Creations Rhodes florist team and rental items!
Both bride and groom began their wedding day preparations at Melenos hotel and we captured treasured moments as their day began. The groom's suit was custom-tailored to him with a special custom embroidery " Bespoken for Michael Cauchi" and his double crossover buckle shoes were designed by Mook. The Groom and Groomsmen all wore boutonnieres that were designed with hand-selected roses baby's breath flowers and touched with a gold satin ribbon. The groomsmen's suits were blue and the Grooms jacket had a fancy print that made him stand out like a gem!
The bride and bridesmaids gracefully began the day together in a suite at Melenos hotel. The bridesmaid's dresses were blush pink, wearing dazzling drop earrings, and they each had a bouquet that matched the bride's unstructured whimsical designed bouquet by Kay Creations. The glamorous shoes were made by the famous designer "Jimmy Choo". They were pointed-toe, crystal-embellished, white, slip-on style high heels! The rings were by Tiffany's and the Groom gave Rolex watches as gifts for the wedding to his bride, father, and best man.
The couple kicked off their day with sweet moments at Villa Vigli which had an incredible floral, a custom graphic-designed walking stage, and breathtaking views of the grand Lindos. Their intimate bright ceremony was decorated with gorgeous roses, astilbe, delphinium, lisianthus, ruckus, hydrangea, baby breath, and phalaenopsis. The whimsical styling featured colors of dusty pink, peach, white, and gold. These colors brightened the environment and created such a blissful and wonderful path of joy. Umbrellas for the shade were given to guests accompanied by fancy hand fans. A refreshment bar was also placed outside the Villa on stunning tall pillars with a scenic background that was simply stunning to gaze at. Welcome drinks were also served to the guests from Melenos hotel which was a sweet treat on this hot summer day!
To elevate the celebration, the reception of the couple was followed by the "Melenos" Rooftop dining that was decorated creatively with spectacular twinkling lighting, blissful cutlery, a custom gold seating chart, and a uniquely designed cake. Guests dined on tablescapes decorated with a delicate floral centerpiece and candled to enhance the atmosphere. Amethyst color glass goblets, Himalayan salt natural crystal holders and phalaenopsis flower on each charger add a unique touch to the outcome. Custom mirror table numbers designed with the couples signature wedding logo and pattern showed the way and customization was put on the name holders for each seat, wedding reception menu and favor box for each guest. This had the couple's printed logo pattern with their initials, a ceramic bowl made by a local pottery studio, sweet local rhodian honey in a small jar, koufeta (white sugar-coated almonds) wrapped in a white mesh touli finished with a white and gold ribbon to complete this special gift.
The beautifully romantic three-tier lush wedding cake featuring the custom graphic logo was spectacular and the design was marvelously topped with a phalaenopsis creating a focus on the marble glazed upper layer. The dessert bar was a taste of tradition baked in Rhodes and open to all the guests who have the sweet tooth and love for Greek sweets! The bar selections were also printed on a custom mirror for the guests to view and order their delightful cocktails! After the cutting of the cake, the family and friends took a short walk to the lower level of Melenos hotel to dance away their fairytale dream wedding! Covered in fairy lights and decorated creatively they danced away in the moonlight overlooking the Aegean sea!
