LUSH GARDEN STYLE WEDDING FULL WITH SUMMER BLOOMS
 IN LINDOS

Lindsey & David

Lush garden style wedding with purple blooms is what defines Lindsey's and David's destination wedding in Lindos, a village which is famous for its whitewashed buildings and picturesque views of the Mediterranean sea. The couple had originally planned their wedding in 2019 and due to the pandemic they were forced to postpone two times before finally making it to Rhodes Island. The wedding was eventually planned in a timeframe of two months with a powerhouse team of vendors including wedding planners Golden Apple Weddings who brought the couple's chic garden style wedding vision to life.

For their wedding venue the couple choose Melenos Hotel, an small dreamy boutique hotel in the heart of Lindos Village. The open air ceremony and al fresco reception were held at the two level balconies of the hotel with its suspended greenery. The bride got ready with her parents and the bridesmaids at a private villa in Pefkos. Lindsey wore a stunner bridal gown covered in lace while her bridesmaids choose one-color dresses in turquoise to fit within the color theme of the wedding. David and his best man chose a navy blue suite and paired it with a patterned floral tie.

Kay creations creative talents created all the eye-popping blooms of the wedding including the botanically-inspired bridal bouquet that was made of sweet peas, pale yellow and lilac roses, light purple delphinium and wax flowers. The color that seemed to dominate through the color palette was the color purple, which although it is an bright color it matched harmoniously to the garden vibe of the hotel. Katerina the wedding creator quoted " For this wedding we mixed and matched textures, tassels and floral to create an romantic garden style design that matched to our couples wishes."

The couple decided not to see each other prior to their ceremony so they had their first look when Lindsey walked down the aisle holding her father. The ceremony took place at the lower balcony of the hotel where white wooden chairs were placed on the one side to create a aisle for the bridal group and couple. The couple stood beneath one semi-round arch with rich in colors blooms and were married by the town hall efficient before exchanging their vows while all ethereal images were captured by Two Clicks.

After the ceremony, the guests were treated to an open-bar for the cocktail hour and enjoyed some appetizers before the reception dinner while the newlyweds went to the other areas of the hotel for a short photo shooting session. At the reception space the tables were adorned with the same romantic tones as seen through the day. The table were set with white linens and styled with purple napkins, golden cutleries and candlestick holders, while overgrown floral centerpieces added the perfect sense of romance. For the bridal table we placed a long-monastery table and white linen that was topped with a pink chiffon runner paring perfectly with the pink glasses and Plexiglas favors with the traditional Greek "kouveta" candy. All tables had as backdrop the dazzling views of the Mediterranean sea and were placed under a canopy of fairy lights that led-up as the sun went down. Just after nightfall, the couple had their first dance which was followed by the cutting of the impressive three layer wedding cake from Trizeli Confession.
