Emerlee and Nick knew from the beginning that they wanted to get married in Santorini Greece, the island of the blue sky and the jaw-dropping sea view from the caldera Cliffside that you cannot find anywhere else in the world. The duo who are both USA-based doctors decided to escape the fast-paced life and to gather their 25 closest friends and family members to an unexpected destination wedding in Greece.
Golden Apple Weddings designed and planned this elegant and dreamy wedding filled with carefully curated details that was bound to give everyone butterflies. The couple dreamed of a color palette filled with subtle blues and white hues, from patterned linens to white tiffany chairs and gold details for a touch of elegance.
The bride sourced her bridesmaids with matching robes in different shades of blue that they wore while getting ready together at the Golden Suites. A pearl necklace accentuated her striking white wedding dress with embroidery while creamy white roses and eucalyptus composed Emerlee's whimsical bouquet leaving everyone speechless. The groom's look was composed with a light grey suit and brown shoes while his groomsmen wore black suites and the same brown shoes. All men were given small boutonnieres to coordinate to the bridesmaid bouquets.
The duo tied the know in September at the picturesque Le Ciel venue. The beautiful balcony with the breathtaking views of the sea embraced the ceremony and the stunning in-door space also served as their reception site. The couple hired one harpist and violinist to play at the ceremony which was officiated by their mutual best friend. The white wooden arch was decorated with garden inspired blooms in white and green shades while white tiffany chairs were placed in rows facing the altar. The ceremony began with the musicians playing in the background while Emerlee made her way down the aisle accompanied by her father and mother, everything was artfully captured in the imagery by Anna Rousos. After the exchanging of vows the couple cut their two-tier confection while the sun set offered a beautiful backdrop in the pictures.
Everyone entered the indoor space of the venue where the wedding coordinators of Golden Apple Weddings had perfectly set the table for the couple to enjoy their first meal as husband and wife. The patterned linens were the focal point of this stunning tablescape while we incorporated different-size vases filled with roses and greenery, gold cutleries and charges as well as dusty blue napkins, printed wedding menus and white candlesticks that created a glow through the multi-course dinner.
