On August 29, 2023, in the heart of Lindos, Dionne and Carl celebrated their love with a stunning island life wedding. The couple, along with their guests, all from England, started the day at the elegant Lindos White Hotel and Suites. The anticipation was palpable as they prepared for the momentous occasion ahead.
The civil ceremony was held at the beautiful Church of St Pauls, known for its serene atmosphere. The entrance to the church was transformed into a floral paradise with an arch adorned with blossoming flowers and lush greenery. A mirror stand, graced with a synthesis of flowers in the wedding's color palette of fuchsia, white, and olive green, added a touch of sophistication and elegance. Ghost chairs lined the aisle, which was beautifully decorated with floor synthesis, and paper cones filled with confetti flowers added a whimsical touch to the atmosphere.
Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed to the reception at Melenos with a plexiglass welcome sign, thoughtfully decorated in the wedding's color scheme. The dinner area was a dreamy landscape of candles and flowers arranged in vases on the table. The tables were elegantly dressed in white napkins and tablecloths, with custom-made tiles as favors, each marked with a guest's name.
A charming corner decorated with locally made tiles was set up near the dinner area for guests to sign, a keepsake for the couple to cherish forever. As the evening fell, a singer set the mood with live performances, while guests dined on a sumptuous menu served with a Greek twist.
The styling of the wedding embodied the relaxed elegance of Lindos’ life. The colors of fuchsia, white, olive green, sage, teal, and silver finishes represented the vibrant energy of Dionne and Carl's love.
The flowers chosen for the occasion were as unique as the couple themselves, including Olive Branch, Parvifolia Eucalyptus, Gunni Eucalyptus, Serriaflorida, Ornithogalum, Baby's Breath, Bougainvillea, Protea, Delphinium Veronica, Lisianthus, Anthurium, Wax, Chrysanthemum, and more Bougainvillea.
The celebration culminated with the cutting of a two-tier wedding cake, elegantly designed with a blueprint that matched the overall style and design of the wedding. The cake was not just a sweet treat but a testament to Dionne and Carl's tasteful and exquisite wedding celebration that will be remembered for years to come.
