MARVELOUS WEDDING IN LINDOS RHODES

The starting point of this Marvelous Wedding in Lindos Rhodes, was a romantic moment watching the magic sunset in amazing Santorini, when Dino proposed to Anna; a dreamy vacation from New York to Greece, where Dino comes from.

While searching their Greek destination, they were came across Lindos area in Rhodes.. and that was it the sign; since the beginning of their relationship they called each other “Linda” because of funny video on internet, of a young boy complaining to his mother –Linda- about letting him eat cupcakes; the favorite dessert of Dinos.

The 50 guests from the USA witnessed an unforgettable ceremony full of happy tears and beautiful vows based on their love story. Chairs had been set up oriented with view to the couple and on their background the sea and the stunning ancient temple of Lindos’ Acropolis.

On the end of the ceremony flip flops were given as gift to the guests. They walked through the beach to find their welcome drinks and dinner tables on the sand.

Dinos’ Greek background was the inspiration behind the selection of the main element of the wedding; olive leafs and branches and the added palette colors came up from Anna’s stunning bridal dress; this unique deep red Vera Wand creation. This was the first thing Anna had chosen about her wedding as it was love at first time when saw it on her gown scouting.

In all decoration aspects, from the printings to table decoration, we incorporated olive branches with blush pink flowers. We used lots of candles to highlight the magic feeling of the night and sparkles send off to escort Mr & Mrs’ first dance.

On the wedding planning period, we spent lot of time discussing with Anna her vision of creating an unforgettable wedding with traditional Greek touches so to add an emotional feeling for Dino’s family. A lot of ideas were on table and the best of them were chosen for the day; the bride arrived on the chapel escorted by the music of 2 traditional instruments, lyre and accordion. Cones with rice and golden olive leafs were given to all guests to through at the end of the ceremony.

A candy table was welcoming guests on the reception entrance, offering local sweets used in Greece to celebrate the unite of the newlyweds.

The highlight of the night was the starting of the wedding party; the DJ mixed the slow first dance song with the traditional Zorbas the Greek song! A crazy dance when we made all guests join with us and proceed to an unforgettable wedding night!
