Fannie & John

Fannie and John's wedding, held on July 17, 2023, was a celebration of love that brought together their Greek-American heritage. With a guest count of 150, the event was attended by Greeks residing in America, Americans, as well as guests from the beautiful islands of Rhodes and Karpathos.

The wedding décor was elegant and timeless, with a touch of Greek influence. The color palette consisted of classic whites and greens, symbolizing purity and new beginnings. Delicate white flowers and lush greenery were used throughout the ceremony and reception spaces, creating a romantic atmosphere.

The ceremony took place at the enchanting St. Nektarios in Faliraki. The Bride arrived at the Church with a beautiful Vintage Rolls Royce car. As Fannie gracefully walked down the aisle, she was greeted by a pristine white carpet adorned with four elegant white urns on white stands, embellished with delicate white flowers and lush greenery. The ambiance was ethereal, creating a serene atmosphere for their Orthodox ceremony. After the heartfelt ceremony, guests were welcomed to a refreshment station featuring a mirror stand adorned with beautiful flowers. To add a touch of Greek tradition, guests were also treated to melekounia, a delightful Rhodian Greek sweet.

The reception took place at the picturesque Kalithea Springs. A charming welcome sign greeted guests as they entered the venue, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. The table plan was thoughtfully designed to match the wedding's theme and style, providing guests with an easy guide to find their seats. The decor, a mix of modern elegance, featured hanging chandeliers adorned with greenery above the tables. The colors chosen were white, emerald green, sage, and an assortment of metals. The reception area was further illuminated by fairy lights strewn across the entire area and a dance floor with a printed thematic sticker added to the wedding's overall styling.

The bride, stunning in her bridal dress, carried a bouquet of white roses. Her choice of shoes and accessories perfectly complemented her look. The groom was charming in a black suit and white shirt.

Guests were treated to a delightful culinary experience. Traditional Greek cuisine was served, featuring mouthwatering dishes that showcased the rich flavors of Greece. From savory appetizers to delectable main courses and decadent desserts, every bite was a celebration of Greek gastronomy.
The open bar service, decorated with graphics based on the wedding theme, offered signature cocktails. The Bride's choice was a mix of vodka, fresh lime juice, and green apple, while the Groom's choice was a blend of mastiha, strawberry, rosemary, and fresh lemon juice. The wedding cake was a masterpiece that mirrored the elegance of the event.
