AL FRESCO VILLA WEDDING IN GREECE
WITH CHANDELIER INSTALLATIONS & DIVINE ARRANGEMENTS

Jacqueline & Peter

This undeniable gorgeous destination wedding of Jacqueline's and Peter's is another reason why we love the classic white and green color palette. Peter, who has his origin from a tiny island in the Dodecanese, Lipsi had the dream of getting married in Greece. The couple had a love for Italian-style gardens and architecture so they chose to host their nuptials at Bello Blu villa in Rhodes Greece which combined both.

Golden Apple Weddings masterfully planned this modern fairytale wedding that was full of stunning details. Pale ivory, champagne and cream florals as well as green foliage and gold accents provided the main colors for this event while adding a subtle Mediterranean feeling. Kay Creation floral arrangements created a romantic and rustic look for the ceremony and a garden-like feeling for the reception dinner while the chandelier installations and elaborate flower arrangements that gave a glamorous vibe to the night.

Peter and Jacqueline worked with their stationer to customize their invitation suite with illustrations of olive leaves to pass on to their guests the theme of the wedding. They selected ivory envelopes with gold calligraphy for their invitation cards and RSVP cards and dusty blue for the name tags and menu with a wax seal for the finishing touches.

Jacqueline went wedding dress shopping in New York City and sealed the deal with the most iconic wedding dress, she couldn't have looked more beautiful in her elegant white lace gown with the low cut v-back and chic head piece plus a tulle veil that paired perfectly with the dress. The bride held a bouquet of astilbe, eucalyptus, baby blue hydrangea, pale blush chrysanthemum and a variety of roses while her bridesmaids held smaller versions of Jacqueline's bouquet. Peter got ready the traditional Greek way with two musicians playing in the background while getting dressed, he wore a navy blue customized suite and brown leather shoes while his groomsmen wore similar ensembles.

Jacqueline's father was waiting for her in a 1962 Rolls Royce to escort her to St. Sofia chapel where the ceremony took place, the little chapel is known for the jaw-dropping view of the Mediterranean sea. We placed rustic wooden cross back chairs in the courtyard creating an aisle that lead to the full-floral arch where Peter was patiently waiting for his soon-to-be wife. The processional market the first time the couple saw each other as the bride walked down the aisle with her father. The newlyweds took portraits between the ceremony and reception dinner and spent some hours at Kallithea Springs with their wedding photographer Vesi Simopoulos and videographer One Day Production. The cocktail hour took place at the villa where champagne and signature drinks were served alongside to some appetizers during the golden hour while taking in the ocean views.

The guest found their seat through the escort cards that were placed on the favor table which had olive oil bottles and small evil eyes. The reception area draw guests eyes top to bottom. The long wooden bridal table setting included low statement centerpieces, topped with dusty blue napkins, gold candle sticks. The whole table was placed under a pergola of hanging chandeliers and greenery while the guests round tables were placed in front of the bridal table, it was the perfect setting for a dinner under the stars and fairy lights while large glasses with candles decorated the pool area.
