Halki Island, is about 1 hour and 20 minutes with the catamaran from Rhodes harbor and offers seclusion and tranquility. It only measures 28 sq km, it’s mountainous but with golden sandy beaches.

An ideal place for those who want to go off the beaten track and enjoy traditional Greek food, fresh fish brought in every day by the local fisherman and a pure romantic wedding and honeymoon.

There are only a few cars and a couple of taxis so you will enjoy walking to go from the port to the beaches. The houses are built amphitheatrically in a Venetian style touching the water, some of them even have their own dock to fasten your boat or yacht. The Knight’s of St John built a castle on top of one of the hills which is in ruins nowadays but the view from up there is still amazing. You should visit the three windmills in the harbor, St Nicolas bell tower and the imposing watch tower.

Spending just a few days in the Island and you will feel you were there for a lifetime! The hospitality offered by the locals and the chastity of this place will make you say “I Do” in a background that looks like paradise!
