Bohemian Beach Wedding
A beautiful hidden gem in South Rhodes, wedding venue Mea Terra, features the ultimate sense of tranquility with this elevated intimate beach wedding Editorial. The charming wedding set up, authentic gastronomy and breathtaking floral styling are complementing the already picturesque scenery of the surrounding.
In this chic-boho style shoot the ceremony is held on the waterfront in front of a stunning arch backdrop made of magnolia leafs, olive branches and pampas grass. We opted for a long walkway lined aisle runner from jute rugs with a set up of modern wooden cross back chairs in each side of the aisle. Two vintage golden vases filled with flourishing green olive leafs were placed in front of the aisle. Sotiris Tsakanikas did a fabulous job capturing the romantic set up as the sun went down.
The gorgeous bride is adorned in a two piece white and tan ruffle bohemian wedding gown from Atelier Zolotas Collection. The neutral bridal glam make up and loose curly hairstyle perfectly embodied the chic-beach bridal look while a stunning pair of Pedro Gracias Swarovski terracotta heels added the perfect finishing touches to the bridal wear. The over the top bridal shower bouquet blooms included hand-opened blush roses, olive branches, pampas grass and pink peonies. The groom sported a casual chic light and airy attire of a beige suite, thin brown leather suspenders and an off-white shirt.
Following the ceremony, Golden Apple Weddings created a dreamy dinner reception at the intimate space of the restaurant. A long timeless wooden monastery table was placed beneath a pergola canopy of twinkled fairy lights together with a low-hanging chandelier-design made from macramé and cactus leafs for a modern bohemian feel.
We incorporated various textures for a earthy aesthetic and kept a neutral color pallet with soft pink, white, smokey green and beige tones. Kay Creations tablescape embellished a mismatch of light pink and terracotta linens, shell-pink color tones candle sticks, soft blush glassware and gold cutleries. For the table flower synthesis the flourish olive leaves placed inside ivory tones vases were meant to be the highlight of the centerpiece decoration. The custom-made clay cactus leaf favors with the macramé string details by Manousenia Designs and Pantias Macrame Designs were placed next to the artfully shaped porcelain plates. All tablescape details balanced out together perfectly looking like they were plucked right out of a dream.
Inspired by the ceremony and reception table design, Manousenia Designs crafted a custom-made stationary suite to add a refined edge to the raw beauty of the setup. The handmade calligraphy menus, illustrated wedding invitations and personalized name tags added a personal touch to the Editorial.
