Svetlana's and James love story is one for the books, James proposed to his charming wife in summer 2020 on the same day and place where they tied the knot one year later, at St Paul's Bay in Lindos on the island of Rhodes. Golden Apple Weddings designed this intimate soiree keeping in mind that is should be romantic and personalized to the couple and their love story. The duo has created a family together with their six children they had from previous marriages, they are a living example that life is unpredictable and this has captured our hearts from the beginning.

Kay Creation floral designer worked her magic with creating a mesmerizing ceremony setup at St. Paul's whitewashed chapel. A flower-filled wedding arch placed against the breathtaking view of the Mediterranean sea made a beautiful wedding backdrop for such an important occasion. This round shaped showstopper arch was made of olive leaves, eucalyptus and hydrangea blooms in dusty blue and white. The color palette for the wedding was classic white, touches of gold, sapphire blue and bright greens. The cute little girls wore dusty blue bridesmaid dresses and the boys who represented James best men wore dark blue suits to fit perfectly into the wedding scheme.

Svetlana walked down the aisle carrying a bouquet of white roses and lisianthus as well as olive and eucalyptus branches and was escorted by a live violin player with the background music of her favorite song. The couple read the vows they had written to each other towards end of the ceremony. Our hearts fluttered from the dreamy photos of Stelios Kalisperis who was there to capture all darling moments in between.

A picture perfect al fresco reception dinner followed at Tambakio restaurant which is located on a big rock on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. A family wedding table was the embodiment of traditional elements. The long wooden table features a dusty blue fabric, two round centerpieces with flowers in white and blue shades, gold candles and cutlery, patterned plate sets, olive branches and dark blue glasses. After the dinner was over the couple enjoyed their wedding cake which was designed by Trizeli Confections which made sure to sweeten the attendees.
